Company Background

Gordon E. Smith co-founded Canaudit in 1985 to provide both professional development and consulting services to the international audit community. Gordon is the original developer of the Canaudit Penetration Testing methodology and the integrated audit concept, which are now recognized as the industry standards for technical security auditing worldwide. Gordon's contribution to the audit industry is well known and respected. Listed in the Who's Who of Leading American Executives, Gordon won the 2002 Wasserman Award, and has two books to his credit: Network Auditing: A Control Assessment Approach and Control and Security of E-commerce (John Wiley and Sons).

From his roots in the banking industry, Gordon led Canaudit to expand its expertise to several other industries by attracting some of the top audit consultants into its ranks.
